Superior Court Proposes Changes to Rules of Civil Procedure

The Superior Court of the District of Columbia has completed its review of proposed amendments to the Superior Court Rules of Civil Procedure 10-I and 30, permitting the use of a substitute address in court filings consistent with the District of Columbia’s Address Confidentiality Program and requiring that self-represented parties provide their email address.

Superior Court Issues Order Regarding Evaluation of Juvenile Restorative Justice Program

On March 4, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 21-01 authorizing the Office of the Attorney General of the District of Columbia (OAG) to share only de-identified case records and law enforcement records of juveniles in the delinquency system for the purposes of evaluating its restorative justice prosecution program.
