On April 14 the D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) announced a vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia resulting from the retirement of Judge Fern Flanagan Saddler, effective April 22, 2022.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is seeking to fill vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Admissions and Grievances and the Advisory Committee on Procedures. Also, the Judicial Conference of the District of Columbia Circuit has at least one vacancy on its Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services.
