On February 24 American University (AU) Washington College of Law’s George Marquette and Patrick Riley prevailed over four other law school teams to win the 2023 D.C. Cup Moot Court Competition. Stephanie King and Danielle Barnes-Smith of George Washington University (GW) Law School took home the Best Brief Award, with King also winning the Best Oralist Award.

The D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure is inviting comments on the qualifications and fitness of Judge Anthony C. Epstein and Judge Heidi M. Pasichow, who are each seeking reappointment to a 15-year term as associate judge on the D.C. Superior Court. Their current terms expire on August 24, 2023.
