Superior Court Issues Orders on Criminal Justice Act Panel

On May 2 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued a series of orders regarding the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel: Administrative Order 23-04 (Reestablishment of CJA Panel), Administrative Order 23-05 (Continuing Legal Education for CJA Attorneys), Administrative Order 23-06 (Hourly Compensation Rate for Appointed Attorneys), Administrative Order 23-07 (CJA Fee Schedule), Administrative Order 23-08 (CJA Guideline Fees for Superior Court Cases) superseding Administrative Order 09-05, and Administrative Order 23-09 (Voucher Prep Guidelines for CJA Attorneys) superseding Administrative Order 12-11.

The court also issued a notice increasing the maximum rate of compensation for cases under the CJA and Counsel for Child Abuse.
