D.C. Bar CLE classes are eligible for credit in all jurisdictions having mandatory CLE requirements. Restrictions may apply. The process for obtaining credits varies by state. You may contact the CLE Office at 202-626-3488 for further information about course accreditation.

The D.C. Bar is an accredited or approved sponsor in the following states:

Alabama, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

All courses qualify for New York credit through reciprocity.  A separate chart for New York credits is available.

The D.C. Bar applies for credit for individual courses in other states, including Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, and Wyoming.

Courses may satisfy requirements in Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, but attorneys must apply individually for credit and, if the state requires it, submit accreditation fees directly to the state.  The D.C. Bar CLE Program will provide any requested supporting documentation required for these submissions.

Instructions for Submission of MCLE Forms will be relayed during the live course.

Credit hours for courses are listed after the time of the course. These hours are calculated on a 60–minute hour. Breaks already have been deducted in all credit calculations. However, some states round down to the nearest half–hour.
