Attorneys can purchase an individual passport based on membership status: a 15-credit hour passport or an unlimited credit hour passport. A 15-credit hour passport entitles the attorney to select up to 15 credit hours. Attorneys that purchase an unlimited passport can select as many CLE courses as they choose.
In addition to individual attorney passports, law firms can purchase a law firm passport based on the number of classes (20, 30, 40, or 50 classes).
All passport purchasers can choose from our extensive catalog of live, in-person classes (held at the new D.C. Bar Headquarters), simultaneous webcasts of those in-person classes, or from our extensive on-demand library. As a special incentive, passport purchasers will also have access to unlimited course materials.
Passports are good for one year from the date of purchase. All credits and classes must be redeemed within one year from the date of purchase.
How It Works
After purchasing a D.C. Bar CLE Passport, attorneys and law firm designees can review the CLE course listings on the D.C. Bar website CLE page. If you would like to attend an in-person course, a webinar, or obtain an on-demand program, simply call the CLE Office at 202-626-3488 or email [email protected] and you will be registered for that class.
Passport purchasers can also attend any class the day-of, and will be registered on-site.
