2023 Judicial and Bar Conference
Friday, April 28
Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center
Washington D.C.

The District of Columbia Judicial & Bar Conference is a biennial event presented by the District of Columbia Courts and the District of Columbia Bar bringing together judges, Bar leaders, and members of the legal community to discuss timely issues facing the profession.

Join us on Friday, April 28, as experts from the bench and bar explore issues related to the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, which granted the District limited self-government 50 years ago.

The conference will close with a judicial reception honoring District judges who have recently resigned, retired, or taken senior status. See a list of judges being honored.

Event highlights:

  • Panel of former D.C. Attorneys General, moderated by current Political Analyst Tom Sherwood
  • Keynote luncheon featuring a conversation with broadcast journalist Kojo Nnamdi and former D.C. mayor, Sharon Pratt
  • Nine CLE accredited sessions, with the opportunity to earn up to 2.5 CLE credits
  • Judicial reception honoring D.C. judges
