The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission is inviting comments from the bench, bar, and public regarding the qualifications of 21 candidates for pending vacancies on the D.C. Superior Court created by the retirement of Judge William M. Jackson and anticipated retirement of Judge Gerald I. Fisher.

Superior Court Approves Changes to Rules of Civil Procedure

On March 24 the D.C. Superior Court Board of Judges issued Rule Promulgation Order 22-05 approving amendments to Superior Court Rule of Civil Procedure 12-I and conforming amendments to Rules 5, 56, 64-I, and 64-II. The revisions take effect April 25, 2022.
