Temporary Panel of Retired CJA Attorneys Appointed as Counsel for Grand Jury Appearances

On September 11 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 24-13, appointing a temporary panel of retired Criminal Justice Act (CJA) attorneys to represent witnesses called to appear before the grand jury.

These six attorneys, who will be compensated at the current hourly CJA rate, are limited in their representation of the witnesses to the grand jury appearance.

The order takes effect immediately.
