Superior Court’s Landlord and Tenant & Small Claims and Conciliation Branches Are Relocating Saturday Services

Effective September 6, 2025, the Landlord and Tenant Branch as well as the Small Claims and Conciliation Branch will relocate Saturday services only to the Moultrie Courthouse, located at 500 Indiana Avenue NW, Suite 5000, Washington, DC 20001.

The Building B Courthouse, located at 510 4th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001, will be closed on Saturdays.

The Landlord and Tenant and Small Claims Branches will accept filings and protective order payments on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon in Suite 5000, located on the fifth floor of the Moultrie Courthouse.

For filings and protective order payments made Mondays through Fridays, parties should continue to use the branch offices located in the Building B Courthouse.

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to the president of the United States six candidates for judicial vacancies on the D.C. Court of Appeals in light of the retirement of Judge Kathryn A. Oberly and the resignation of Judge Loren L. AliKhan.
