Superior Court Updates List of Criminal Justice Act Panel Attorneys

On March 28 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 25-10 updating the list of attorneys serving as full and provisional members of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel.

Absent suspension or removal, the attorneys listed as full members are appointed to the CJA Panel for a period of four years, at which time they must submit an application for reappointment. Provisional members serve a two-year term and must apply to become a full member before the provisional term expires.

JNC Recommends Six Candidates for Superior Court Vacancies

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to President Trump six candidates for judicial vacancies on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the retirement of Judges Anthony C. Epstein and Alfred S. Irving Jr. The president has 60 days to select a nominee to fill each vacancy.
