On February 11 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 22-03, regarding extension of and appointments to its Criminal Justice Act Panel of attorneys. Unless suspended or removed, the provisional and full panel members are appointed until May 2024. Full panel members must apply for reappointment by that date; provisional members may apply to the full panel at any time.

On October 3 the District of Columbia Board on Professional Responsibility issued Administrative Order 2025-2 promulgating approved amendments to Board Rules 7.5, 7.6, 7.12, 7.16, 13.3, 13.11, 14.1, 15.7, 19.4, and 19.8.

The D.C. Bar Nominations Committee is now accepting nominations from members wishing to be candidates in the 2026 D.C. Bar elections. The deadline for receipt of nominations is January 30, 2026.
