Superior Court Issues Orders Regarding Probate Fiduciary Panel

On May 25 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 22-06 reestablishing the Probate Fiduciary Panel. The presiding judge of the Probate Division seeks applicants for the Probate Fiduciary Panel from qualified attorneys, including current panel members. The presiding judge will submit the applications to the Probate Panel Implementation Committee for review.

See the orders for a list of committee members, required qualifications, and application materials. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2022.

JNC Announces Superior Court Vacancy

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) is inviting qualified individuals to apply for a vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia resulting from the resignation of Judge Maurice A. Ross, effective February 27, 2026. The deadline to apply for the vacancy is noon on March 12.
