JNC Recommends Three Candidates for Superior Court Vacancy

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to the president three candidates for a judicial vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the retirement of Judge Heidi M. Pasichow. The president has 60 days to select a nominee to fill this vacancy.

The candidates are Christopher M. De Bono, who has served as senior counsel in the Office of Legal Policy at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ); Judge June K. Lee, immigration judge with the DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review; and E. Lindsey Maxwell II, director of the D.C. Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining.
