D.C. Circuit Court Seeks Committee Candidates

April 13, 2021

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is seeking to fill vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Admissions and Grievances and the Advisory Committee on Procedures . Also, the Judicial Conference of the District of Columbia Circuit has at least four vacancies on its Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services . Members of these committees will serve a three-year term starting on July 1, 2021. 

D.C. Bar members who are interested in being appointed to the committees should submit a resume by May 10, 2021, to Elizabeth H. Paret, Circuit Executive, at [email protected].

JNC Recommends Three Candidates for Superior Court Vacancy

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to President Biden three candidates for a judicial vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the retirement of Judge Anita Josey-Herring. The president has 60 days to select a nominee to fill this vacancy.
