On July 24, 2025, the D.C. Court of Appeals appointed Robert L. Walker, Esquire, to serve as the Board Chair and Margaret M. Cassidy, Esquire, to serve as the Board Vice Chair. The Court appointed George Hager (Public Member) and Jay A. Brozost, Esquire, to their first three-year terms on the Board. All appointments are effective August 1, 2025. Mr. Hager and Mr. Brozost replace Sara K. Blumenthal (Public Member) and Bernadette C. Sargeant, Esquire, respectively, who completed their Board service on July 31, 2025.
The Board wishes to thank Ms. Blumenthal and Ms. Sargeant for their dedicated volunteer service to the discipline system, and to recognize Ms. Sargeant’s leadership as the Board Chair during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 Board terms.
