Summary: In re Darlene C. Jackson. Bar No. 445931. August 31, 2023. The D.C. Court of Appeals suspended Jackson for 60 days with fitness. Jackson violated Rules 3.4(c) and 8.4(d) by issuing a subpoena in a federal court civil action while discovery was stayed and by disclosing the contents of a sealed settlement agreement. Jackson violated Rule 8.1(b) by failing to respond to Disciplinary Counsel’s investigative inquiries and to a Board order compelling a response.
