Summary: In re Sylvia Adams. Bar No. 468683. December 1, 2022. In a reciprocal matter from Maryland, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed reciprocal discipline and indefinitely suspended Adams with a fitness requirement and the right to seek reinstatement after being reinstated in Maryland or after five years. In Maryland, Adams was found to have failed to file income tax returns for multiple years and failed to respond to Maryland Bar Counsel’s requests for information.
