Summary: The D.C. Court of Appeals suspended Tun for one year for making false statements in a motion to recuse a justice in a criminal trial, where Tun represented the defendant. One Judge dissented in part from the decision not to require Respondent to demonstrate his fitness to practice law ethically and competently as a condition of his reinstatement.
