Josef Palermo

Josef Palermo is a Development Specialist with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. In this role, he manages fundraising activities, including direct mail solicitations and email campaigns, foundation fundraising and grants management, workplace giving programs, and special events. He also provides significant input into the Pro Bono Center’s marketing and communications activities.

Prior to joining the Pro Bono Center, Josef worked as a community engagement director for GatherDC, which focuses on building community for and among local Jews in their 20s & 30s. Josef also worked as the Director of GLOE – The Kurlander Program for LGBTQ Outreach & Engagement at the Edlavitch Jewish Community Center of Washington, D.C.

Josef holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida Atlantic University.
