Promulgation Order 22-01  reinstates amendments to the alternative service provisions in Domestic Violence Rule 5 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, effective until June 30, 2022.

Promulgation Order 22-02  reinstates amendments to Juvenile Rule 43, which added a new section that provides explicit authority for the court to conduct proceedings by video or telephone conference if the chief judge has issued an order under D.C. Code § 11-947 (2019 Supp.) based on COVID-19 and if there is a case-specific finding. The temporary amendment will remain in effect until December 31, 2022.
