Superior Court Extends Application Deadline for Probate Fiduciary Panel

On September 28 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Administrative Order 22-26 setting the schedule for initial reestablishment of the Probate Fiduciary Panel, set for February 6, 2023. Attorneys may submit applications from October 1 to November 30, 2022, and the Probate Panel Implementation Committee will make their recommendations to the chief judge on January 13, 2023. Applicants who submitted a completed application before the previous deadline of June 30, including all materials required by the application, are not required to reapply.

The court also issued Administrative Order 22-27 requiring the presiding judge of the Probate Division to prepare the application and the committee to evaluate candidates by the respective deadline. In addition, the order named the judicial officers appointed to the Probate Panel Implementation Committee.
