Submit Comment on D.C. District Court Nominee Ana Reyes

The American Bar Association Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary is inviting comments from the bench and bar regarding the professional qualifications of Ana C. Reyes, a partner at Williams & Connolly LLP, who has been nominated to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

The committee, which evaluates the qualifications of all nominees to the federal courts, focuses its review on the nominee’s integrity, professional competence, and judicial temperament. To submit comments or to set up a call to discuss your knowledge of Reyes’s work, please email D. Jean Veta, D.C. Circuit representative to the committee, at [email protected].

The deadline to submit comments is May 11. All statements are confidential.

JNC Announces Superior Court Vacancy

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) is inviting qualified individuals to apply for a vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia resulting from the resignation of Judge Maurice A. Ross, effective February 27, 2026. The deadline to apply for the vacancy is noon on March 12.
