D.C. Bar’s Board of Governors Denounces Anti-Asian Hate and Violence

March 19, 2021

The Board of Governors of the D.C. Bar grieves with our Asian American members and neighbors over the horrific murders in Atlanta earlier this week. These brutal killings, together with the hatred and bigotry directed at Asian Americans throughout history - and most recently, over the course of the Pandemic - remind us how essential the rule of law is to the most marginalized among us. We condemn these violent crimes and acts of racial and ethnic discrimination and urge our members to commit themselves to furthering the Bar’s mission to increase access to justice for all.
