Apply for Membership on the Superior Court’s Probate Fiduciary Panel

Announced in Administrative Order 23-25, the presiding judge of D.C. Superior Court’s Probate Division seeks applications for the Probate Fiduciary Panel from qualified attorneys who are not currently serving on the panel. The application period runs December 1, 2023, through January 31, 2024.

Applicants, who must have an office in the D.C. area, must commit to attending an educational program and to performing 10 hours of pro bono work in the Probate Division’s Self-Help Center.

After receiving applications from the presiding judge and comments by the Probate Panel Advisory Committee, the Probate Panel Implementation Committee will make its recommendations in February 2024.
