Summary: In re Peter C. Anderson. Bar No. 436282. April 13, 2023. In a reciprocal matter from North Carolina, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed reciprocal discipline and disbarred Anderson, nunc pro tunc to March 8, 2023. In addition to the other requirements for reinstatement, Anderson must be reinstated by the state of North Carolina prior to filing a petition for reinstatement in the District of Columbia. In North Carolina, Anderson was found to have withheld settlement funds that lawfully belonged to his prior law firm in violation of North Carolina Rule 8.4(c).
