Summary: Disciplinary Counsel issued Hessel an informal admonition. While retained to assist a client with collecting monies owed to his business, Hessel failed to respond to discovery requests, letters from opposing counsel, and various motions; failed to respond to nearly all of the client’s attempts to contact him during this time; failed to provide substantive information about the status of the case; and failed to advise the client that the court dismissed the case for failure to comply with discovery or otherwise prosecute the case.
