Summary: In re David R. Steinman. Bar No. 460646. July 30, 2020. In a reciprocal matter from Colorado, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed identical reciprocal discipline and suspended Steinman for six months, with all but three months stayed, followed by a one-year period of probation subject to the conditions imposed by the state of Colorado, nunc pro tunc to February 28, 2020. In Colorado, Steinman was found to have dishonestly concealed his impermissible private law practice while employed as a government attorney.
