Summary: In a reciprocal matter from New York, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed reciprocal discipline and suspended Zucker for six months, nunc pro tunc to August 15, 2017. In New York, Zucker was found to have delegated his firm’s bookkeeping responsibilities to a nonlawyer, without regularly reviewing or auditing the firm’s escrow accounts. As a result, the non-lawyer assistant misappropriated more than $2 million from the firm’s bank accounts, including escrow accounts.
