Summary: In re Jaime Teodoro Zeas AKA James J. Zeas. Bar No. 491583. August 10, 2023. In a reciprocal matter from New York, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed reciprocal discipline and disbarred Zeas, ordering that, prior to filing a petition for reinstatement, he must first be reinstated to practice law in the states of New York and Illinois. In New York, Zeas was found to have secretly recorded a 14-year-old girl in a state of undress in a health club bathroom, resulting in his felony conviction for child pornography.
