Summary: In re Elizabeth M. Fischer. Bar No. 461184. December 7, 2017. In a reciprocal matter from Virginia, the D.C. Court of Appeals disbarred Fischer as reciprocal discipline. In Virginia, Fischer was found to have falsely alleged that the bankruptcy trustee had stolen her payments when, in fact, no such payments had been made. Fischer also falsely asserted payments to her condominium association and mortgage holder and produced falsified documents purporting to demonstrate those payments, although no such payments had been made.
