Summary: Disciplinary Counsel issued Teitelbaum an informal admonition. Teitelbaum, as attorney for the special administrator of an estate, accepted a fee without seeking and obtaining the required court approval. His client disbursed the assets of the estate, including paying Teitelbaum’s his fee, prior to submitting a request for compensation. Teitelbaum failed to provide competent representation, failed to charge a reasonable fee and engaged in conduct that seriously interfered with the administration of justice.
