Summary: In re Jinhee K. Wilde. Bar No. 436659. August 17, 2023. The D.C. Court of Appeals disbarred Wilde for rules violations stemming from her theft of $1,100 from another passenger during an airline flight. Wilde violated Rules 3.3(a)(1), 3.3(a)(4), and 3.4(b) by making repeated false statements and repeatedly submitting false statements to the South Korean courts; Rules 8.1(a) and 8.1(b) by knowingly lying to Disciplinary C Counsel and obstructing its investigation by withholding documents; Rule 8.4(c) by engaging in dishonesty, fraud, and misrepresentation in fabricating documents and making false statements about them to the South Korean authorities; and Rule 8.4(d) by making false representations and submitting fabricated documents to the South Korean court during the criminal trial, and making false statements and failing to produce documents to Disciplinary Counsel during the disciplinary investigation. Wilde also violated Rule 8.4(b) by violating Article 329 of the Korean Criminal Act by stealing money and by committing fraud and multiple forgeries.

Summary: In re Jinhee K. Wilde. Bar No. 436659. July 31, 2019. The Board on Professional Responsibility recommended that the D.C.
