D.C. Bar Named to Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces
June 23, 2025
The D.C. Bar is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of Washington Post’s Top Workplaces for 2025, a recognition given to organizations in the greater Washington, D.C., area for their leadership in workplace engagement and employee satisfaction.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized as a Washington Post Top Workplace, especially since the award is based on input from our staff. It’s wonderful to know that staff feel valued, supported, and proud to work at the Bar,” said D.C. Bar Chief Executive Officer, Robert Spagnoletti.
The Washington Post Top Workplaces award is based on employee feedback gathered through a survey administered by Energage, an expert-verified employee feedback tool trusted by the nation’s top workplaces. Eighty-six percent of Bar staff responded to the confidential survey, giving the organization a 92 percent rating in overall workplace experience. The survey shows that staff members believe they are closely aligned with the Bar’s direction, values, and meaning, and that they feel valued, respected, and supported. The Bar also received favorable rating from staff for empowering them to execute and grow.
Established in 1972 and with nearly 122,00 members in all 50 states and around the world, the D.C. Bar is the fastest-growing unified bar in the United States. Its mission of enhancing access to justice, improving the legal system, and empowering lawyers to achieve excellence is supported by nearly 150 employees.
