Join the past presidents of the D.C. Bar to honor the incoming president and support the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. An annual D.C. Bar tradition since 1993, the Presidents Reception brings together the legal and pro bono community leaders to welcome the new Bar President and support the largest provider of pro bono legal help in the District of Columbia. The Pro Bono Center’s award-winning legal clinics, projects, and resource centers each year serve more than 20,000 individuals living on low incomes, families, safety-net nonprofits, and local small businesses.

The 2024 Presidents Reception will honor incoming D.C. Bar President Shaun M. Snyder and will take place at the Westin Washington, DC Downtown, immediately preceding the D.C. Bar’s Celebration of Leadership Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting. Honor Shaun M. Snyder as he takes the volunteer helm of the D.C. Bar and support the Pro Bono Center by becoming a sponsor or renewing your support today. Presidents Reception sponsors and contributors provide more than 20% of the Center’s annual budget and support a wide range of free legal services that improve lives of our District neighbors.

The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center is a charitable organization exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All the Pro Bono Center’s services are made possible through voluntary contributions. No mandatory D.C. Bar license fees support the Pro Bono Center.
