Join the Legal Frontlines of Vaccine Law
September 15-16, 2022
The D.C. Bar is a proud partner in the first National Vaccine Law Conference on September 15-16, 2022, a seminal event bringing together the top legal minds and scholars in vaccine law to reimagine the legal response to infectious diseases and counter the heavy toll such diseases extract from society.
With the use of vaccines under attack by misinformation, misinterpretation of data, and growing state-level legislative efforts, there is an urgent need for increased understanding of the interrelated operations of vaccines, vaccination, and immunization law. The Vaccine Law Conference is the first conference dedicated solely to addressing vaccine law issues, from equitable distribution to vaccine mandates, intellectual property laws to privacy implications.
Why Attend:
- Be a part of the solution. Vaccine law is a field in flux, particularly since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. This working conference presents an opportunity to not only exchange knowledge, but to collectively reimagine our legal responses to infectious diseases, address some of the urgent trends impacting public health, and establish standards and best practices in the field.
- Learn from vaccine law experts. More than 40 practitioners and scholars will provide expertise in all stages of vaccine law, including safety and regulation, equitable funding and distribution, public and private mandates, privacy law issues, corporate vaccination policies, and vaccine adverse event compensation. Meet the speakers.
- Stay current in your law practice. Vaccine law intersects with many other areas of the law, from health and public policy to employment and ethics. With three conference tracks focused on vaccine development and distribution, public health policy and practice, and employment law, you can stay current on the latest developments, legal perspectives, and best practices relevant to your field of law. Explore the schedule.
- Earn up to 9.5 CLE credits, including 1.0 ethics credit, with the opportunity for additional CLE credit on-demand.
